Weekdays can be fun too :)

Hi Everyone,

Here's a report on my week so far.  It's actually been a lot of fun because I haven't had too many meetings and my work load hasn't been too demanding.  The only icky thing about this week... it's felt like Friday since Tuesday!  Oh well, good thing I've had a good time and today's Thursday :)

On Tuesday night, I attended a free hip-hop class at the school, that my friend who used to be a dance major, happens to teach.  And yesterday, I didn't really do any work, and it was a little scary (b/c I'm so used to being busy with work).  After classes, my day consisted of grading speeches for students who are trying to be Ambassadors and going Halloween costume shopping with my roommate and friend.  Between the Salvation Army and Party City, we managed to put together great costumes for an inexpensive price... always a bonus as a college student!  I won't tell you what we're being... but I'll be sure to post pictures later this week where you can see for yourself :)

Halloween has definitely been on my mind.  In my hometown, Halloween was definitely a big deal.  I mean, I'm not crazy obsessed with it, like some people I know, but it's definitely a good time and I enjoy dressing up and all the other things that come with Halloween.  My roommates and I have pumpkins that we want to carve, and our apartment is decorated with Halloween decorations.  And of course, we have Halloween candy :) Mercyhurst has a lot of fun with it too, which I like.  On Saturday, I have to be at the Blacklight Iceskating event for student government, but I don't mind because it's such a fun event.  Like the name implies, we all dress up and go iceskating on the hockey rink, and there are fun blacklights so it's not like the rink is all lit up.

Definitely stay tuned for an entry from this week about the Halloween Festivities!  Too bad I have a science project I have to work on as well, haha. I suppose school can't be TOO much fun ;)
